The Study Committee is the part within MiT that is responsible for monitoring the courses\nthat the students of the sections are partaking in. In every class, there are two student representatives that conduct evaluations for their ongoing courses. The purpose of the Study Committee is to gauge how accurate the course\u2019s goals are reflected in the contents of the course and, if there are areas that are lacking, to make changes.<\/p>\n

As students, you are welcome to send in any opinions, evaluations, questions about the course and everything in between to our open survey. The survey can be submitted anonymously, but if you would like feedback on what has been done, we require some form of contact details. Link to the open survey.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The Study Committee has a chairman that is in charge for the operations and assists in\ndifficulties with teachers or questions, should they arise. It is also the chairman that oversees\nthe work of the committee and has meetings with the committee throughout the school year.<\/p>\n

The Study Committee is also responsible for other activities that serve the purpose of\npromoting studying. Every year, the section crowns Teacher of the Year and Assistant of the Year.<\/a>The students of the section can nominate whomever they felt like did a little extra with\na motivation in the nomination. The winners are chosen by the committee and the winners are\ngiven prizes for their excellent work.<\/p>\n

The chairman of the Study Committee is also part of the education branch of THS where\nquestions regarding KTH are brought up.<\/p>\n

If you have any problems as a student, know that you have the Study Committee along with\nthe entire section, to assist you!<\/p>\n
